Accessibility Statement

This site is currently being tested and changes being made to address any accessibility issues that we find.

Haringey Culture Collective is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible.

We want everyone to be able to explore the programme, discover local stories, find events and opportunities, and get involved in the cultural life of the borough.

We want our website to be easy to use, whether you are using a keyboard, a screen reader, voice recognition software, a screen magnifier or other assistive technology. We also aim to make our content clear and easy to understand.

We are working to make sure our website meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard. We will continue to review and improve the website to make it more accessible.

Compliance status: Partially compliant

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA standard because of the issues outlined below.

We are working to identify and resolve accessibility issues so that more people can use the website independently.

We aim to make sure that:

  • You can navigate the website using a keyboard without needing a mouse.

  • Links, buttons, menus and interactive features have clear labels and are easy to identify.

  • Text is clear and readable, with sufficient contrast against its background.

  • Images have alternative text where needed to help people using screen readers understand their content.

  • Pages use clear headings and a logical structure.

  • Forms have clear labels, instructions and helpful error messages.

  • The website works across different devices, browsers and screen sizes.

  • Content can be enlarged without losing information or functionality.

  • The website works with commonly used assistive technologies.

We are aware that some parts of the website may not yet meet accessibility requirements. These include the following issues identified during our accessibility checks.
Skip to main content link: The website may not currently provide a skip link that allows keyboard users to move directly to the main content, bypassing repeated navigation. We are working to make this available.

We will update this list on completion of final accessibility tests.

You may be able to make the website easier to use by adjusting your device or browser settings. For example, you can:

  • Enlarge text using your browser's zoom settings.

  • Change colours or contrast settings on your device.

  • Use a screen reader to have page content read aloud.

  • Navigate links, buttons and forms using your keyboard.
